✈️ Stranded at the airport (+ new project reveal)

Greetings!

I'm excited to share with you a new project I'm working on.

You know how sometimes a story sticks with you long after you've read it? That's what happened when my brother Arif first read "Journey in Grace" by David Sterling (Hajj Mustafa).

This book tells the story of Hajj Mustafa’s life - how ordinary moments turned into extraordinary spiritual lessons, how he met remarkable teachers across continents, and how he discovered God's help showing up in unexpected ways. His stories show us what it means to trust in divine guidance, even when things seem impossible.

After Arif shared the book with me and with several friends, we managed to connect with Hajj Mustafa through a mutual friend. This led to him coming to Bangalore for a book launch. While chatting about Sufi Comics, an idea sparked - what if we could share these beautiful stories through comics?

Why comics?

Well, there's something magical about seeing a story unfold through pictures. It helps us pause at those key moments and really feel what the characters are going through. Plus, it opens these wonderful teachings to readers who might not pick up a traditional spiritual book.

Here’s Hajj Mustafa sharing this thoughts about the book and collaboration with Sufi Comics:

Let's start with "The Secret Agent" - a story about trust and divine help. It takes place at Washington DC International Airport in 1979, where David and his friend find themselves stranded for three days without money, trying to catch a flight to London.
